IHARA announced the launch of three new herbicides with “innovative technologies” aimed at soybeans, one of which – DORAI MAX (Diquat dibromide + Amicarbazone), is presented as a substitute for Paraquat which is banned in Brazil.

According to IHARA Brasil, DORAI MAX brings an “innovative solution, with a new active ingredient that provides fast and effective action to anticipate the harvest.”

“In addition to these benefits, the new herbicide allows for a uniformity of maturation, reducing losses during harvest, as well as machine wear and fuel consumption, always maintaining the quality of the grains, increasing the storage potential,” the manufacturer pointed out.

According to IHARA, DORAI MAX can “offer the best scenario for the farmer,” who can “work with the possibility of early harvest, reducing the exposure of grains to the attack of crop detractors and environmental variations, thus making it possible to plant the second crop within an ideal window. This technology also comes to replace Paraquat.”

“The soybean planting scenario is increasingly dynamic in controlling of difficult-to-control weeds, pests and diseases that affect the crop in different situations. That is why we invest in R&D, to offer the best technologies and efficient solutions to farmers, which differentiate themselves in the market and bring the best results,” said Daniel Zanetti, Manager of Herbicide Products at IHARA.

Another launch is XEQUE-MATE HT, which has the most concentrated liquid formulation on the market and wide coverage of records, allowing its use in more than 40 cultures. It is a systemic herbicide with high efficiency in combating annual and perennial weeds for various crops.

“Because of its innovative technology in Brazil, the new formulation of XEQUE-MATE HT - High Technology reduces the application dose per hectare by 15% compared to the previous formulation, which ultimately results in savings for the farmer, among others. They are worth mentioning: less logistical movement, less space for storage and less volume of return of packages,” affirmed Zanetti.

BURNER, on the other hand, is a new technology with higher desiccation speed before planting, with an initial residual effect and a broad spectrum for weed control.

“This solution brings several benefits to accelerated desiccation, allowing a better initial development of the crop, anticipation of planting, improving and facilitating crop plantability, in addition to contributing to the management of post-emergence weeds in soybeans, quickly eliminating weed competition and host plants for pests and diseases. The technology can also be used for cotton, beans and corn crops,” IHARA said.
