Indian govt proposes to increase registration fee for pesticides

As per the direction of the competent authority, the in-house group of officers of CIB&RC have submitted a proposal for revision of registration fee for pesticides under various categories, keeping in view of the complexity, level, nature of application, level of disposal of the application and to promote the quality Bio-pesticides registration. The proposal has been conveyed to Department of Agriculture & Farmers welfare, New Delhi for concurrence and the competent authority has desired to seek comments of stakeholders on the proposal.
In view of the above, stakeholders are requested to submit their comments on the proposed revised fee structure enclosed at Annexure within 30 days period from the date of uploading of the public Notice on the website of Dte. of PPQ&S. The reply may be sent through email to cibsecy@nic.in.
This has the approval of AppA & Secretary (CIB&RC).
