AgroPages-SDS Biotech K.K.'s Rogue SC (benzobicyclon 400g/liter) approved in the US Mid-South states-Agricultural news

Gowan Company L.L.C., the exclusive distributor of SDS Biotech K.K.’s benzobicyclon in the US, has received registration approval of Rogue SC Herbicide (benzobicyclon 400g/liter) for use on water-seeded and dry-seeded rice from the US EPA followed by state approvals in Missouri, Arkansas, and Louisiana while approvals are pending in Texas, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

Rogue SC is a broad spectrum herbicide, controlling key grass, broadleaf, aquatic and sedge species, and suppressing weedy rice. Rogue SC is the first HPPD inhibiting herbicide registered for use on rice in the Southern rice producing states of the US, and will be an important tool to control weeds that are resistant to other rice herbicides.
