Xinnong Chemical signs 5-year supply agreement with BASF Indonesia to supply Zinc thiazole

Chinese Xinnong Chemical recently signed a supply agreement with PT BASF Indonesia for supplying Zinc thiazole for five years (2021-2026), beginning from the date of the effectiveness of the supply agreement. 

BASF Indonesia will purchase Besun Elite (Zinc thiazole 300g/l SC) from Xinnong Chemical, with a quantity (non-binding estimation) of 298.00 kiloliter (converted to 357.60 tons) during the period of the supply agreement. 

BASF’s product range includes chemicals, materials, industrial solutions, surface treatment technology, nutrition and care, agricultural solutions. It has set up more than 350 factories and branches in 39 countries across Europe, Asia, North America and South America. Its business transactions have involved more than 170 countries. 

Xinnong Chemical said its Zinc thiazole is a patented, self-created and developed product with proprietary intellectual property rights. It is a new-generation, high-efficient and low-toxic fungicide for application to rice, citrus and solanaceous vegetables. 

The signing of the agreement stands for BASF Indonesia’s recognition of the quality and efficacy of the product and the supply capability of Xinnong Chemical. It is a good start of Xinnong Chemical’s overseas formulation business deployment, using Zinc thiazole as an entry point. 

It is of great significance to the overseas market expansion and a further enhancement of the brand value of Xinnong Chemical.
