Corteva launches 7th spinetoram product in mainland China

Corteva’s Aiduole, spinetoram 25% WG, which is used to control the rice stem borer and rice leaf roller was launched in mainland China, on June 17, 2021.

As a biological pesticide, the spinetoram ingredient (Jemvelva™) in Aiduole has been listed as an “AA class green food production material,” since it meets the environment-friendly green pesticide requirement. The product can ensure the quality and safety of agricultural products, which is a safeguard of consumer’s health.

In the meantime, Aiduole possesses a brand-new action mode, being free from cross-resistance to the rice stem borer in early rice and middle and late rice. By using the new mechanism, the product has an excellent effect and controls the resistant stem borer. It can also control the rice leaf roller five days before and after the application. 

The highly efficient and safe product not only helps growers to protect seedlings and the yield but also helps farmers achieve a good harvest of rice. Moreover, the product contributes to the green pesticide application initiative, which increases the efficiency of pesticides while decreasing the amount used. 

After its release, Aiduole has become the 7th product from the Jemvelva family in the Chinese market.
