UPL entering into a dealership agreement with local distributor, endeavoring to develop Chinese marketqrcode

On April 25, Nanning, Guangxi, UPL and Wan An Te signed a strategic cooperation agreement on product distribution in Guangxi, China. According to the agreement, the two parties will strive to achieve Yuan100 million annual sales of UPL’s products in Guangxi in the next three years, as backed up by the core technology-based products of UPL and the strong distribution channels and promotion capacity of Wan An Te. The cooperation shows that after a series of mergers and acquisitions as well as product consolidation, UPL has begun to make full effort on business promotion in the Chinese market.


Wan An Te specializes in supply of agricultural solutions and technical services. Guangxi is a province with the highest value of economic crops and large planting area, where the planting area of citrus, dragon fruit, sugarcane and mango ranks the first in China. UPL possesses citrus-oriented plant protection and nutrition solutions, its copper formulation, acaricide, mancozeb and algae technology are a good match to the needs of Guangxi’s citrus crops.


Xu Guojun, China Regional Manager of UPL, said that Chinese market has largest potentials for agricultural development, whilst Guangxi is a symbol of Chinese agriculture. The strategic cooperation between UPL and Wan An Te is of a great milestone significance. UPL has made significant adjustment to its strategic development and business model, which is referred to as the “technology + promotion + service,” aiming to become a platform for joint development and common prosperity in association with distribution channels.


UPL’s technical and product strength lies on seed treatment, mancozeb, copper formulation and biostimulant. UPL’s Guangxi work team and Guangxi Wan An Te are prepared to work closely on market promotions via joint management of product, channel and personnel, striving to make a breakthrough in achievement of Yuan100 million sales in the next three years.
