Australian crop protection expert Nufarm has been offering biological solutions for almost 20 years. To provide customers with better guidance in their purchasing decisions, the company is now bringing together its entire range of biological products under the NuBio umbrella brand. The NuBio portfolio currently contains more than 15 products, with the biostimulant Go K Up to be added in the first quarter.

Nufarm makes it easy for growers to find the right biological solution for their needs. From now on, the company’s biological insecticides, fungicides and biostimulants as well as environmentally friendly spraying programmes will carry the registered “NuBio” label. This means that farmers can easily identify effective biological solutions at a glance – whether they are dispensing with conventional crop protection altogether or are aiming for a mixed application to manage residues and resistance.

The NuBio portfolio already comprises more than 15 products across Europe and is set to expand this year with the biostimulant Go K Up being launched in the Spanish market in the first quarter of 2021. Go K Up is a balanced blend of amino acids and potassium oxide (K2O) supporting higher yields in both citrus fruit and olives. In addition to Go K Up, several other biostimulants, bioinsecticides and biofungicides are currently undergoing extensive evaluation.

Nufarm has a long tradition in marketing biological solutions. The crop protection manufacturer introduced its first amino acid-based biostimulant back in 2002. Many other bioinsecticides, biofungicides and biostimulants followed. “We strongly believe in biological solutions to form an integral part to protect crops in Europe and beyond”, says Hildo Brilleman, Regional General Manager EuMEA at Nufarm. “Nufarm continues to invest into this sector to support farmers in an ever-changing regulatory and societal environment.”
