Den Ouden Groep acquires Plant Health Cure

On January 1st 2021 Plant Health Cure (PHC) has become part of Den Ouden Groep, a family business from Schijndel, the Netherlands. Den Ouden thus strengthens its position in the market for organic fertilizers and biostimulants. Pius Floris (PHC): “In order to continue the growth, a connection has been sought and found with Den Ouden. The synergy in markets and products offers great opportunities in and outside Europe”.

Den Ouden carries products from Ferm-O-Feed and Den Ouden Groenrecycling and has been working intensively with PHC for some time. "This addition ensures a better positioning in the market and thus Den Ouden can be of even more added value for its customers." said CEO Jeroen den Ouden.

The acquisition of PHC enables Den Ouden to offer a more complete package. The products and services of this new combination contribute to a healthy, fertile and liveable world.

In 2022, the new EU fertilizers law will come into effect. This includes biostimulants and (liquid) organic fertilizers that PHC produces. "This acquisition gives us the opportunity to continue to answer the increasing demand, and to offer (total) solutions in the field of soil health and soil care."
