AgroPages-Syngenta's fungicide Thiovit Jet receives 10-year approval-Agricultural news

Syngenta's fungicide Thiovit Jet has gained a 10-year specific off-label approval for its use on protected cucumbers, peppers, leaf herbs, tomato and aubergine.

Growers can use the product to control powdery mildew - and are advised to take care to use the sulphur-based product with a suitable wetting agent.

This is because the maximum concentration of the product must not exceed 10g of product per five litres of water.

In addition, a minimum interval of one week must be observed between applications of the product.
