Recently, AgroPages and China Biostimulants Development Alliance (CBDA) signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Hangzhou, China. The strategic cooperation agreement was executed after all-round discussions with regard to utilization and consolidation of resources of each party to explore and make use of the value of biostimulants to better serve terminal market and growers, which will be a contribution to China’s modern agricultural development.

“CBDA is prepared to continue its assistance to manufacturers in formulation of product standard jointly with government and scientific research institutions to serve Chinese biostimulant industry, promote Chinese high-quality biostimulant enterprises to go global, as well as increase the international market share of Chinese biostimulants. At the same time, we welcome cooperation with reputed overseas enterprises and superior brands for product supplies to Chinese growers,” said Liu Jian, Chairman of CBDA.

“China is an emerging agricultural market with great potentials. In the circumstance of China’s advocation for ‘decrease in pesticide and fertilizer use with increase in efficiency.’ we are looking at cooperation with CBDA in a purpose to promote upgrading of biostimulants in China in respect of regulatory compliance, production and application to better serve to meet the needs of China’s modern agricultural development,” said Eva Hoo, General Manager of AgroPages.

The two parties also had in-depth discussions on the possibility of building CBDA into Asian Biostimulants Development Alliance, which is expected to attract membership from India, Japan, South Korea and other Southeast Asian countries to consolidate more resources that will work together to jointly serve the Asian market.
