Jiamusi Heilong Pesticide’s haloxyfop-P-methyl successfully put into production in Chinaqrcode

China's agrochemical company Heilongjiang Jiamusi Heilong Pesticide Co., Ltd. recently completed phase I of a project recently and began trial production while simultaneously launching the construction of Phase II.


Located in Jiamusi High-Tech Zone, Jiamusi Heilong Pesticide Co., Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shandong Huimeng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. It covers a land area of 172,167 square meters with floor area of about 100,000 square meters. On October 11, the phase I boiler was successfully ignited and began a test run with feed material. On October 18, the first production cycle was completed and all product technical indicators met.


From the start of trial operations till date, more than 100 tons of haloxyfop-P-methyl technical were produced, which is a daily average of 10 tons. While trial production is ramping up, the output is going to increase gradually.


The company is implementing the project in three phases, with a total investment of Yuan1.2 billion. Phase I saw an investment of Yuan450 million for production of haloxyfop-P-methyl, fluazifop P butyl, cyhalofop-butyl and clodinafop-propargyl; phase II will see an investment of Yuan500 million and is expected to be put into operation in 2022 using the intermediates of phase I, and phase III will have an investment of Yuan250 million. 


After the project is completed, the company will establish an annual production capacity of 23,000 tons of novel herbicides and intermediates, and will become one of the prime Chinese manufacturers of low-toxic and environment-friendly pyridino-heterocycle pesticide series.
