Timac Agro buys agricultural division of New Bio Technic to enter microbiology and biocontrol market

FranceThis acquisition will allow Timac Agro to upgrade the set of solutions offered to farmers, entering the microbiology and biocontrol market, strengthen its mission as a provider of comprehensive and innovative solutions for more sustainable agriculture.
Ricardo Llátser, CEO of Timac Agro Spain said, "This acquisition confirms our continued commitment to innovation and new technologies, facing a new challenge for the future of our agriculture".
Located in Seville and founded in 1999, NBT works in the biofungicide sector with its Tusal brand. The acquired division will maintain the production unit and the Microbiology Research Center at its current location.
