These organizational changes have been made as part of Corteva’s long-term strategy to best serve farmers and customers by establishing the strongest portfolio of products and drive long-term sustainable growth. Through the changes in Greater China, Corteva aims to more effectively match its global resources with local needs to serve Chinese agricultural communities, underlining Corteva’s long-term commitment to China as a strategically important market.

I am confident that he will leverage his numerous talents in his new role, supporting customers around the globe,” said Peter Ford, president, Corteva Agriscience, Asia Pacific. “We now welcome Alec Zheng to the role of president for Greater China, and I am excited for him to bring his 30-plus years of management and strategy experience to the table as we look to our China team to continue its significant positive momentum.”
Peter Huang has made great advancements for Corteva in Greater China during his tenure as president, leading operations in the market since the merger of Dow and DuPont, and most recently, facilitating Corteva’s spin off into a pure play agriculture company in Greater China. In his new role as Global Program Management Director for Global Business Platforms, Peter Huang is the Global Program Management Director for Global Business Platforms, Corteva Agriscience. In this role, Mr. Huang leads the Global Program Management organization which is key organizing and delivering Corteva innovation and growth goals.
With an impressive background in management and strategic planning, Alec Zheng is an exciting change to Corteva’s leadership in Greater China. He was widely recognized in his previous role as Corteva Greater China Director of Marketing & Strategic Planning for his achievements in leading the promotion of the company’s key proposition of ‘farmer enterprise’. The Corteva China team has built great growth momentum since the company’s successful spin off in 2019. Alec Zheng will continue this growth as he implements his signature role of ‘farmer enterprise’ promoter.
These roles changes will be effective on July 1, 2020.
