Shandong, China is a rich province with deep cultural heritage. It is also a major agricultural province with many modern agricultural zones. The grain, vegetables and fruits produced in Shandong are sold throughout the country and exported to high-end agricultural markets such as Europe and the United States.
Recently, Harvey Zodin, the former vice president of ABC Television in the United States and Sydney Parmenter, a former Australian diplomat in China, came to Shandong and visited Yantai Apple Agricultural Area and other places. The two foreign visitors had an in-depth understanding of China’s own modern agricultural technology, and they also appreciated the new look of Chinese villages under the strategy of national village revitalization.
