Yongtai Technology to invest Yuan1 billion to establish fluorine-containing fine chemical plant in Wuhai,China![qrcode]()

The plant will produce fine chemicals prioritised by Chinese state policies, with a focus on pharmaceuticals, pesticide intermediates, APIs and new materials.
The plant will also concentrate on developing fine chemicals, supported by the company’s expertise in fluorine-containing fine chemical production and technical knowledge, which will help in the cyclic production of principal products and by-products via the cycling process, reducing energy consumption and cost of production and increasing the company’s competitiveness.
Yongtai Technology is a world-leading manufacturer of fluorine-containing fine chemicals, which has access to the complete industry chain and large production capacity. The company produces chemicals for pesticide production, including fluorine-containing herbicides, fungicides and insecticide intermediates, as well as pesticide technicals and formulations.
Fluorine-containing products are widely used in pesticide production. Over the last 20 years, fluorine-containing pesticides accounted for 51.9% of all pesticides produced while insecticides accounted for 80%. Due to the efficiency, low-toxicity and low-residual effects of fluorine-containing compounds, fluorine-containing products will become a key part of future green pesticide production.
Pesticide intermediates produced by Yongtai Technology are widely used in a variety of herbicides and fungicides, and the company produces thousands of tons of customized products for several multinationals from around the world.
The company recently acquired Shanghai E-Tong Chemical, established pesticide intermediate and pesticide technical sales networks in some 60 countries, and submitted 1,800 pesticide registrations worldwide after being granted over 500 such registrations, making it one of China’s crop protection product exporters with the largest number of overseas pesticide registrations.
According to its 2019 semi-annual report, in the first half of 2019, Yongtai Technology achieved sales of Yuan1.6806391 billion, up 29.81% year on year, and its net profit after the deduction of non-recurring profits and losses was Yuan139.7921 million, up 62% year on year.
