AgroPages-Hailir to build Yuan5 billion annual sales of pesticide technical and formulation plant-Agricultural news

Recently Chinese agrochemical company Hailir announced a newbuild of an environment-friendly pesticide production plant in Xinhe Industrial Park, Pingdu City, Shandong Province, China. The facility will take an investment of Yuan2 billion, specializing in manufacture of environment-friendly pesticide technical and formulation products including emamectin benzoate and difenoconazole. Upon full operation of project, an annual pesticide formulation capacity of 100,000 tons and pesticide technical capacity of 100,000 tons will be brought on stream, which will generate annual sales of Yuan5 billion with profit of Yuan560 million.

The construction of project is expected to start before the 30th December 2019, which is scheduled for operation before the 30th December 2021. This investment of Hailir is meant to enhance its new product portfolio and supply of new product varieties, which will facilitate the company’s market explorations home and abroad.

According to the annual report of the company as issued earlier, in 2018 Hailir achieved consolidated income of Yuan2.191 billion which is 37.88% up year on year and net profit attributable to shareholders of Yuan367 million which is 28.45% up year on year.
