Zhongshan Chemical is a leading agrochemical industry of China with over 27 years of expertise. Its Indonesia subsidiary company was established in 2012 in Jakarta and is now one of the major importers and distributors of agrochemical products in the country. Due to its rapidly expanding business, a new position of head of sales is now open for application.
 

Position: Head of Sales of Indonesia Company
Work Location: Jakarta/Indonesia
Reporting Line: Directly to President Director of the Company

 
Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Planning
Plan and implement trade & consumer schemes, programs and promotion activities through offers, incentives, rallies and allocating budgets.
Review the market response / requirements and communicate the same to the sales team for accomplishment of the business goals.
Analyze new product requirements, manage new product bio-efficacy trials and monitoring large-scale field activities.

2. Product Development
Organize product development activities, launch strategy, execute plan and market surveys, distribution & pre/post launch promotions for new product.
Ensure increased and continuous availability of product by increasing outlets by area/types/potential, merchandise materials and proper use of the materials in the distribution and retail points.
Handle commercial aspects of products.

3. Sales
Carry out company’s yearly sales plan by breaking down and implement sales goals for each region/sales team.
Establish and optimize customer care/collection systems to ensure security of payments.
Collect and analyze market intelligence from field, public or private channels to better adjust sales strategies.

4. Team Management
Select, recruit, define the specific training needs and organize training programs for improving learning curve towards product presentation & operation processes.
Implement continuous on-job training to the workforce for enhancing their productivity & operational efficiencythrough knowledge enhancement / skill building.
Evaluate team members’ performance periodically and give necessary instructions for improvements.

5. Functional
Accumulate resources and channels for branding of products and the company.
Operate and manage CRM system with complete continuously updating business information.
Participate in company’s stock management, overall team management and public relationship management.

Qualifications:

1. At least 5 years of experience in agrochemical business and at least 3 years at position of sales or marketing director
2. Working experience in multinationals is preferred.
3. Master or Doctor degree in chemistry, crop protection, biology, business, or management.
4. Indonesian or resident of Indonesia is preferred.
5. Fluent in Chinese and/or English languages.
6. Able and willing to travel to all territories of Indonesia.
