Summit Agro receives California registration for TIMOREX GOLD fungicide

Summit Agro USA announces registration in California for TIMOREX GOLD, a natural botanical broad-spectrum fungicide. TIMOREX GOLD is the world's leading biofungicide and used in nearly 40 countries worldwide. It provides strong control of many common fungal and bacterial diseases including Powdery mildews, Early blight, and Botrytis in a wide range of crops.
"TIMOREX GOLD has been specifically formulated to keep early season disease pressures low. It can also be used late in the season due to its short PHI and REI requirements" said Fred Yates, Summit Agro Marketing Manager. "Plus, this innovative mode of action helps prevent resistance development in synthetic disease programs. When used in rotational programs TIMOREX GOLD has demonstrated improved plant vigor and yield."
With a unique 46 FRAC code, the development of TIMOREX GOLD was based on a complex blend of natural chemicals from a plant extract from the tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia). Based on this, TIMOREX GOLD will bring California producers a wide range of features and benefits that include:
*Multiple modes of action
*Control of a wide range of plant pathogens, particularly bacterial and ascomycete diseases
*Resistance management
*No residues; no MRL
*No measurable effect on beneficial insects and bees
