Globachem NV completes acquisition of R&D capabilities in the UK

The Belgian global crop protection company Globachem has just completed, through an asset deal, the acquisition of the R&D capabilities of Redag Crop Protection Ltd in the UK.

With this new acquisition, Globachem continues its already fast-growing development. GLOBACHEM DISCOVERY Ltd, the new name of the acquired company, will enhance and strengthen Globachem Group capabilities in Research and Development.

GLOBACHEM DISCOVERY Ltd will address the declining innovation in the agrochemical sector in a more efficient and agile way. Its highly skilled and experienced team will design and synthesize innovative compounds including new modes of action. This acquisition fulfills the mid and long-term vision and future expansion of our company’s R&D, says Globachem co-founder Koen Quaghebeur.
