The Linder Farm Network has announced that Mike Murphy is the newest addition to its farm broadcasting team. Murphy is a veteran farm broadcaster from the Fairmont, Minnesota area and was a long time Voting member of NAFB.

According to Linder Farm Network President Lynn Ketelsen, "Mike is exactly what we want in a farm broadcaster for our network." He knows the ag business, has experience on the air and covering events, and is well liked and respected by farmers."

Murphy joins Lynn Ketelsen, Linda Brekke and Dan Lemke on the Linder team, giving the Linder Farm Network the opportunity to cover even more ag events in the state.

"Farmers tell us over and over that they want local based information, and that is what we specialize in," according to Ketelsen. He adds, "If it's happening in Minnesota, we want to report on it and be that local source for farm information."

The Linder Farm Network has been the "Voice of Minnesota Agriculture" for over 40 years and is based in Owatonna, Minnesota.
