BASF presents two new insecticides for soybeans and corn in Argentina

ArgentinaBASF launched two new insecticides: Fastac® Duo (Alpha-cypermethrin + acetamiprid) and Pirate® (chlorfenapyr) in Argentina. Fastac® Duo is a new insecticide for the whole complex of soy bugs that acts in all stages of insect development, with systemic and contact action. Pirate® is an insecticide for soybeans and corn with broad spectrum (caterpillars, mites and thrips) and rapid control. In addition, it presents a new ideal mode of action for anti-resistance management.
"These two new releases further strengthen our portfolio that seeks to provide comprehensive solutions to the agricultural producer and is just the beginning of other releases in insecticides to be made in the next five years. In addition, we aspire to complement the innovation of our products with innovation applied to treatments and recommendations,” said Juan Pablo Migasso, Manager of Soil Cultivation at BASF.
