During their presence at work locations, the inspection teams handled 38,133 valid complaints. A total of 12,240 enterprises were requested to take corrective actions; 2,991 enterprises were penalized and fined Yuan214.1436 million; 186 cases were filed for investigation; 88 people were detained; 1,804 people were interviewed and 2,177 people were subjected to accountability.

The production locations of Chinese pesticide enterprises are centralized in the provinces of Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong and Sichuan. At the present time, the environmental compliance regulation of the Chinese central government is expected to remain the most strict in its  history, which will have a continued impact on  the load of production of pesticide intermediates and related products. It is foreseen that the insufficient capacity of running and the rising of prices, which has lasted for 1 year, will continue.
