Sevencontinent: triazole fungicide maintains leading position, herbicide products gain popularity among users

Recently, Chinese agrochemical company Sevencontinent Green Chemical held a summit meeting in Chengdu, China. At the meeting, Sevencontinent Green Chemical disclosed information on its technical development. Besides maintaining its leading position in triazole pesticide, after 7 – 8 years of research, the company has successfully developed a new glufosinate synthesis process, which is now in mass production. The company has also launched a new formulation product series, which has shown its distinctive market advantages.

In recent years, Sevencontinent Green Chemical has continued its in-depth development of triazole fungicide products. In 2016, the company’s azoxystrobin was accredited to both FAO and WHO standards. Sevencontinent Green Chemical has become China’s azoxystrobin technical national standard drafting and formulating enterprise. In 2017, Sevencontinent Green Chemical acquired Jiangsu Chengyang Crop Science to obtain an industry leading position in difenoconazole and cyproconazole technical, both in production capacity and product quality.

At the summit meeting, Sevencontinent Green Chemical introduced its new products, to be released in 2019, which include:

Do Re Fo (difenoconazole + azoxystrobin)
Do Re Me (flutriafol + azoxystrobin)
Tong Hao (cyproconazole + azoxystrobin)

The formulations produced by Sevencontinent Green Chemical use top quality technical materials and the most advanced 4th generation sand mill in China, which enables  the creation of the highest quality products . According to information, the fineness of products from Sevencontinent Green Chemical reaches 2 – 3 microns, while suspension percentages reach 98%. The finer granules, which are obtained this way, ensure better control.

Besides its long-years of focused practices in triazole fungicide, Sevencontinent Green Chemical has targeted the market opportunity for glufosinate, brought on by the exit of paraquat. In 2015, the company launched its new herbicide, Sevencontinent-Jingtiandi (200g/l glufosinate AS). The product has the features of total effect, fast action, being long lasting, high safety and non-nuisance, while  being effective in the control of weeds, such as field eleusine indica, horseweed herb and crab grass, as well as in the control of glyphosate -resistant weeds.
