Innovak Global signs a strategic alliance with Seipasa for crop protection in México![qrcode]()

Innovak Global (Mexican company leader in the development and commercialization of biorational technologies and solutions) and Seipasa (Spanish company specialized in the formulation, development and marketing of botanical and microbiological-based solutions for agriculture) signed a strategic alliance with the objective of promoting and commercializing new solutions for crop protection in the Mexican market.
The signing of the agreement took place last September 18 and 20 in the cities of Hermosillo, Sonora, and Chihuahua, Chih. Mexico, in the presence of Mexican and Spanish executives, commercial partners and agricultural producers from different regions of the country.
The first step of this alliance will materialize in the launch of two new products that will begin to be distributed in the Mexican market soon. Biocinnafol is a natural acaricide/fungicide based on vegetable extracts for the control of powdery mildew and mites, while Biocrifol is an insecticide developed from natural pyrethrin to control sucking insects.
In this alliance, both companies converge in their firm commitment to innovation as pivotal to develop new solutions that, being sustainable and respectful with the environment, guarantee the production of food free of residues.
Innovak Global contributes its extensive experience in improving food quality and crop productivity, as well as its in-depth knowledge of the crop protection market in Mexico. For its part, Seipasa participates with its extensive knowledge in the research, formulation and development of phytosanitary solutions for crop protection based on active principles of botanical and microbiological origin. In addition, Seipasa has been present in Mexico for 10 years.
Effective and environmentally friendly solutions
During the presentation ceremony of this strategic alliance, agro-industrial representatives from different states of the country and directors agreed that the union will bring great benefits to global producers seeking highly effective and environmentally friendly solutions
Alberto Araujo Saavedra, CEO of Innovak Global, highlighted that this strategic alliance strengthens the production, design and commercialization of effective solutions for an optimal food production with zero residues. "With this alliance we can offer more and better solutions to those farmers who trust us to protect crops with effective and environmentally friendly alternatives”, said Araujo.
One of the main architects of the alliance, Pedro Peleato, CEO of Seipasa, called for a green revolution to guarantee the future of sustainable food production through a combination of strategies based on a constant challenge to knowledge.
"Sustainability and the use of biorrational solutions have today become a powerful trend within the agrifood industry. However, it must be noted that what allowed us to reach this point was the sustained effort of companies like Seipasa over the last 20 years”.
The CEO of the Spanish company indicated that a significant joint investment is contemplated from the initial phases of research. He also said that the importance of joint projects with the Mexican agribusiness will demand more capital injection in order to provide the best alternatives to food producers in the world.
