Registration of triflumezopyrim granted in China for the first time to three Chinese enterprises including Noposion

On August 21, 2018, three Chinese companies were, at the same time, granted registration of triflumezopyrim in China for the first time, which includes the following:
1) Shaanxi Biaozheng Crop Science Ltd - cyantraniliprole . triflumezopyrim 23% SC, registered for the prevention and control of rice plant hopper, rice leaf roller and rice stem borer. This is the first time a cyantraniliprole formulation product was registered by a domestic Chinese enterprise.
2) Dongguan Ruide Biotech Ltd - abamectin . triflumezopyrim 11% SC, registered for the prevention and control of rice plant hopper and rice leaf roller.
3) Shenzhen Noposion Ltd - chlorantraniliprol . triflumezopyrim 19% SC, registered for the prevention and control of rice plant hopper, rice leaf roller and rice stem borer.
At an earlier time, DuPont was granted registration in China of triflumezopyrim technical (total content 96%) and formulations (10% SC, Shanghai Lvze Biotech Ltd granted sub-packaging registration); DuPont, FMC and Syngenta were granted registration of cyantraniliprole technical (total content 94%) and a number of formulations. In 2015, Shanghai DuPont Agrochemical was granted registration of the cyantraniliprole technical (total content 94%), being the first domestic Chinese company in possession of such a registration.
