Glysortia, Inc. pledges “worry-free” glyphosate supply

A new supplier of generic glyphosate, Glysortia, Inc., opens with the promise to eliminate the supply and quality issues often faced by distributors, cooperatives, retailers and growers.

Glysortia, Inc., will source glyphosate produced by the most trusted and highest caliber suppliers in China, manufactured to a 97 percent technical standard over the industry’s common 95 percent standard.

Founder and CEO Rick Beardmore, is a long-time veteran of the crop protection industry who well knows the challenges the channel faces. “Assured delivery of the highest quality product at a fair price is needed to survive in the glyphosate business, particularly now when margins are so slim,” Beardmore said. 

"My past experience will allow Glysortia to anticipate and avoid many issues to ensure that our channel customers can manage their costs and serve their customers well,” Beardmore adds.

 Glysortia sources only from the top manufacturers in China and can offer both PMIDA and glycine-based supplies as tech, MUP, loaded and light finished goods. Beardmore said the top Glysortia supplier recently expanded its manufacturing, water treatment and power generation capabilities to world-class standards so that it is buffered from many issues facing other glyphosate manufacturers.

"Glysortia is focused upon supplying generic glyphosate at this time, “Beardmore said, “but other generic crop inputs will be added to the company’s portfolio in the very near future.”

Before founding Glysortia, Beardmore was vice president of crop protection products for Agriliance. His deep industry background also includes strategic positions with Makhteshim Agan (MANA), United Agri Products and American Cyanamid.
