Lianhetec invests Yuan500 million to build hazardous waste landfill

A hazardous waste landfill will be built in Jiangsu Xiangshui Ecological Chemical Industrial Park with an investment of Yuan500 million by Jiangsu Lianhetec, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lianhetec. At a later stage, Jiangsu Lianhetec will set up a subsidiary company to take charge of the project’s construction and operation.

China has been stringently enforcing its environmental regulations in recent years. Yancheng, an industrial location in Jiangsu Province, is expected to process the treatment of large amounts of industrial hazardous waste. Lianhetec is prepared to carry out the construction and operation of the waste treatment facility by following high standards and showing high reliability, enabling the local government and industries to meet the environmental regulatory compliance requirement. The launch of the waste treatment project is in line with the future development strategy of Lianhetec, and will complement the existing business activities of the company.

The main business scope of Lianhetec covers the production and marketing of pesticides, pharmaceuticals, functional chemicals and intermediates, as well as customized production, research and technical service. The investment demonstrates the company’s willingness to step into the pollution control business, using its technical, financing and management advantages.
