Rallis enters into cooperation agreement with Syngenta

IndiaRallis India said that it entered into a cooperation agreement with Syngenta, a Switzerland-based agribusiness company. Both the companies agreed to cooperate with each other in relation to the agrochemical market in India and potential further countries to accelerate and enhance the availability of innovative agrochemical products and technologies to the Indian farming communities and potentially in other countries.
As per the agreement, Rallis shall source fungicide azoxystrobin from Syngenta for marketing in India. The active ingredient azoxystrobin, developed by Syngenta is worlds best selling fungicide and belongs to the strobilurin chemical group.
