AgroPages-Bayer’s channel project of plant protection UAV was officially launched in China-Agricultural news

By Think Real - According to the official news from Bayer China, its channel support project of plant protection UAV was officially launched in Liyang City, Jiangsu Province in September, 2017. Nearly 200 dealers attended the kick-off meeting, witnessing this milestone moment of Bayer in the field of plant protection UAV.

Bayer introduced that compared with normal rice filed, the one which sprinkled by UAV with the project of "Bayer more rice" solution was more healthier. It had the same effect to manual operation, but greatly reduced labor invested by farmers and improved efficiency.

Bayer has started to promote UAV business in China in recent years. It is understood that in 2016, the rice single crop plant management area that operated by Bayer plant protection UAV in Heilongjiang region had more than 4,667 hectare. From 2017, it has reached more than 66,667 hectare. In this year, Bayer totally held more than 30 on-site large-scale scenes, with average increasing yield of 10% -12%.
