Ihara has launched a new exclusive solution for fruits and vegetables growers in Brazil; an insecticide called Eleitto (acetamiprid + etofenprox).
The product is unique because of its wide action against diverse targets on 17 crops and due to its characteristics, which have been especially developed for the market of fruits and vegetables.
Besides the contact effectiveness, Eleitto has systemic action to amplify protection of the plant. Another benefit thought for fruits and vegetables is the short grace period, which allows the application to near harvest. Eleitto has got support for the Maximum Limit of Residue for the major export crops, which transforms it into a viable alternative for farmers that sell their production in the most demanding markets in the world.
Luís Fernando Andrade, an insecticide product manager at Ihara, explained that Eleitto has one more differential that is important: “The solution can be used during any crop stage, including flowering.”
Eleitto is recommended for the control of white-fly, fruit fly, among other pests. The other crops recommended include tomato, potato, grape, apple, cabbage, pumpkin, melon, watermelon, among others.
