Chinese domestic pesticide market expected recovery growth 2010qrcode

With confident on the market, Chinese pesticide market is expected to show recovery growth in 2010. Industry forecasts, 2010, the total demand for domestic pesticide (active ingredient) will reach 302,700 tonnes, basically the same as the previous year’s projections, and will be increased comparing with actual usage these years.

Insecticide demand predicted for the year is about 129,500 tonnes, to be even with last year.

Acaricides, fungicides and rodenticides demand to drop slightly to 9676.02 tonnes, 70,700 tonnes and 361 tonnes, respectively. The demand for herbicides and plant growth regulators are expected to rise by 17% and 6.91% to 89,100 tonnes and 3350.15 tonnes.

The market demand over 10,000 tonnes include dichlorvos, acetochlor, glyphosate, copper sulfate, trichlorfon and that between 5,000~10,000 tonnes cover carbendazim, phoxim, atrazine, butachlor, dimehypo, chlorpyrifos ,2,4-D butyl, paraquat, thiophanate-methyl, omethoate, and acephate.
