Ihara has been granted registration for insecticide Bold (Acetamiprid) in Brazil.
The deferment of the request was published in the Official Union Gazette with the allowance of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Supply, under the registration No. 8017.
According to the maker, Bold is a contact and systemic insecticide for the control of plagues in crops, such as oats, rye, barley, millet, corn, rose, soybeans, sorghum, wheat, and triticale.
In soybeans, Bold has agronomic indication for the control of the whitefly (Bemisia tabaci race B) and the brown stink bug (Euschistus heros). In corn, the insecticide controls the Fall Armyworm (Spodoptera Frugiperda), Dichelops Melacanthus, and the corn Aphid (Rhopalosiphum Maidis).
The product registered by Ihara is indicated for the control of Dichelops Melacanthus in winter crops, such as oats, rye, barley, wheat, and triticale. In Sorghum, Bold is recommended for control of Fall Armyworm and Aphid.
