Chilean company Anasac, based in the capital Santiago, has launched the fungicide Frontal 425 SC (Fenhexamid + Fludioxonil), this month in Chile.
The product, formulation under concentrated suspension, has an indication for use in crops, such as grapes and tomatoes.
Frontal 425 SC is a contact and preventive action fungicide, which acts as an inhibitor in the synthesis of Ergosterol and the cell metabolism of fungi. On vines, it is recommended for the control of the diseases Brotytis (Botrytis Cinerea) and the acid rot (fungi complex: Penicillium Expansum, Alternaria Alternata, Botrytis Cinerea, Cladosporium Herbarum, Rhizopus Stolonifer, Aspergillus Niger, Mucor Racemosus).
On tomatoes, it is indicated for the control of Botrytis. According to Anasac, the fungicide is compatible with the majority of phytosanitary products of common use, and is not compatible only with products of high alkaline reaction.
