Ourofino Agrociência has launched Focus 360°, its new program for Integrated Pest Management in Brazil.
It is one more step for the Brazilian company in terms of expanding its presence and actions in the vegetable protection space.
“Focus 360° is a weeds, plagues, and diseases resistance management program in which we position our portfolio of products: insecticides, herbicides, and fungicides. We are presenting the new portfolio first hand at the Bahia Farm Show and from there we will disseminate massively,” said Ourofino’s Product Manager, Marco Antonio Drebes da Cunha.
According to him, the program is aimed at the crops of soybeans, corn, and cotton. The project has the technical and scientific cooperation of major universities and research centers. Cunha explained that the presence in the field and the quality of formulation of the product are the differentials for Focus 360°.
“Ourofino is working strongly, not only with the existent products, but in search of differentiation. We are revisiting our portfolio of products to work with innovation for the tropics agriculture. We know that today the existent products in the market are developed globally by the makers, and we are positioning the Brazilian agriculture, which is totally different from Northern Hemisphere countries,” highlighted Cunha.
He added that Ourofino is a relatively new company in its seventh year in the market of agrochemicals. “We have 24 registered products for the major crops. In the next four to five years, we should have 25 or 26 products being incorporated into our portfolio, which will always be aimed at Brazilian agriculture.”
