BASF France Agro has just obtained the approval of Tanaris®/Solanis® herbicide (dimethenamid-P + quinmerac) on Brassicaceae species: winter rape, oil rape, cameline and mustard. Its efficiency and flexibility in pre-emergence and early post-emergence make it a specialty that enriches the BASF rapeseed weed control.

Use in early post-emergence is of great benefit to farmers when conditions are difficult at the time of application of pre-emergence herbicides. The prolonged dry periods of 2016 are a good example. It was then important for farmers to be able to wait for conditions that were more favorable to the effectiveness of root herbicides.

The various combinations of herbicides including Tanaris®/Solanis® allow distributors to choose balances corresponding to the floras in their sector. Thus, farmers benefit from competitive offers, flexible employment and adapted to their specific problems.

Tanaris®/Solanis® is used in post-sowing, pre- emergence and early post-emergence. It is allowed from the dry seed stage (BBCH 00) to the spread stage (BBCH 18). The product with SE (suspo-emulsion) formulation is homologated to the dose of 1.5 l / ha, for an application every 2 years.
