Fuhua Tongda accepts public monitoring by inviting public for a tour to its waste treatment facilities

ChinaSome 30 people, including from the local environmental authority, public supervisors, villagers nearby and representatives of neighboring residents, visited the waste treatment facilities of the company.
Yang Guohua, the deputy general manager of Fuhua Tongda Agro-chemical Technology led a site tour to the glyphosates-related waste water treatment process, having briefed visitors about the operating principle of the oxidizing membrane unit and the high-temperature oxidation device of oxidizing workshop, which can effectively solve the problem of odor.
Meanwhile, visitors also visited the normal-temperature oxidation device of the company, and had the chance to understand the benefits of membrane technology over the past normal temperature oxidation device, which is a superior technology used to solve the problem of odor.
Also, the desulfurization and denitrification system was explained to visitors, as well as the methyl chloride pressure swing adsorption unit and the methanol recovery distillation unit for the purpose of waste gas recovery. Visitors also experienced the effort and achievement of the company in respect of clean production, odor treatment and waste treatment.
At a meeting held during the visit, Guohua introduced to visitors their environmental protection measures, glyphosate mother liquid reutilization system, waste gas recovery process, efforts made for corporate social responsibility and the publicity of corporate culture. At the meeting, visitors spoke highly of the efforts and achievement of the company for environmental protection initiatives, and also put forward constructive comments and suggestions for the activities of pollution control for the company.
It was reported that in June 2016, Fuhua Tongda Agro-chemical Technology joined the Corporate Social Responsibility Work Committee of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. To accept public monitoring and to establish harmonious community relations, is one of the main job duties pertaining to corporate social responsibility.
