Arysta launches website on resistant weed managementqrcode

Arysta LifeScience announced the launch of the portal www.manejoderesistencia.com.br which aims to inform producers and distributors about the correct use of herbicides and thus to have an efficient control of resistant weeds.
 
The launch ceremony took place on April 6 during the company's annual convention, with the presence of global president Diego Casanello.
 
The portal has technical information on the management of different species of weeds and Arysta’s solutions to solve these problems, especially the resistant weeds. The portal will have contents from professionals from the national market and also international experts, to keep the farmers always well informed.
 
"The evolution of weed's resistance has been worrying all segments of the production chain - from farmers to the input industry. Arysta invests in research and solutions to address this problem, "says Ricardo de Freitas Dias, products and markets manager.
 
"Arysta shares this knowledge in order to help people with the crop issue. It is important to know how to handle this problem for farmers to achieve higher productivity, "says Ricardo.
 
Arysta LifeScience has a broad portfolio of inputs for the management of resistant weeds, such as SELECT® 240 EC, a highly efficient herbicide based on the active principle clethodim, which has excellent results in the fight against several weeds resistant to glyphosate and difficult to control in various cultures; and PANTHER® 120 EC (quizalofop), providing excellent handling of active principles, as well as SELECT® ONE PACK, new technology that guarantees the maximum performance of the active ingredient, bringing the correct concentration of the oil in association with clethodim, providing high efficiency, besides the ease in the preparation of the syrup.
 
In the portal, farmers could also find information about the ‘Spray Well’ Program, an initiative of Arysta LifeScience in partnership with the Instituto Agronômico de Campinas (IAC). It aims to train people on the correct use of agricultural pesticides for the purpose to protect environment and human, reduce weed resistance and production costs with the objective of orienting on Good agricultural practice (GAP) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in agriculture.
