Plant Impact recently launches its Fortalis® in US, a yield-enhancing foliar spray for soybean.

Fortalis® is proven to maximize soybean yield potential for US growers when applied with a foliar fungicide, particularly premium strobilurin, triazole and SDHI chemistries.

A comprehensive replicated trial program in 2014, 2015 and 2016 and an extensive 2016 on-farm commercial trial program was conducted across prime soybean acres in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Arkansas and Mississippi.  A summary of all 147 treatment comparisons showed an average yield improvement of 4.8 bushels per acre when used in a tank mix with the grower’s preferred soybean foliar fungicide and as part of their usual application program to protect from foliar disease and maximize yield.

Fortalis® contains the second generation of Plant Impact’s patented CaT™ technology, a synthetic molecule which enhances the mobilization of calcium within plant tissue, improving the fixation of flowers and pods in soybean and resulting in an improvement in yields. The first generation of CaT™ technology has been helping Brazilian growers to improve yields for four years as part of the Group’s successful Veritas® soybean product.

According to the Company, Fortalis® will be available to retailers and growers through the following trusted distributors across key soybean-growing states in 2017:

• Helena Chemical Company

• GROWMARK

• Van Diest Supply Company

Mike Eade, Plant Impact US Commercial and Marketing Director, commented,“We are delighted to be introducing Fortalis® to help US soybean growers to drive yield and overall profitability in this 2017 season.  Growers across the US are facing challenging economic conditions and there is no better time to seek new ways to find more value from the same acres.  Fortalis®, along with a preferred strobilurin, triazole or SDHI chemistry can help those growers to improve yields and profits.  Fortalis® has also achieved our ground-breaking Quality Standard, a biostimulant industry first for efficacy, innovation, safety and compliance. We are proud to be working with some of the very best distributors in the United States and look forward to launching Fortalis® with these partners to improve soybean plant health and bring more value to our grower customers.”
