Stimulate, a biostimulant yield enhancer uses as a supplement to foliar nutrients, has been approved by Brazil's Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply.

Stimulate enhances cell division, cell differentiation, cell enlargement, root growth and nutrient utilization. It can increase the yield and quality of grapes and tomatoes.

After many investments on research and technology, the product was developed through an exclusive formulation of Indole-3-butyric acid, Gibberellic acid and Cytokinin (as kinetin) that acts during the vital stages of the development of the crops, increasing the productive potential of the plant, and minimizing the stress conditions imposed by the climate.

Renato Lopes Crizel, the commercial manager of Stoller in the states of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina, said it could be a great ally of grape and tomato producers. “Fruits and vegetables are more responsive to stress when compared to other crops. Besides this, the consumers of fruits and vegetables demand quality from the farmer. Stimulate will elevate productivity with efficiency and quality,” he explained.

Results of the use of Stimulate on tomato have shown that productivity increased by 10 percent. This is because the product promotes improved development of flowers and fruits, boosting the flower production. For vines, Stimulate aided the growth of bunches and berries, ensuring higher yields without reducing fruit quality, which is important, especially for varieties used to prepare juices and wines. Currently, Brazil produces more than one million tons of grapes, according to data provided by Brazilian Institute of Wine.

Stimulate has been in the market since 2000 having registered with the ministry for kidney bean, soybean, rice, corn, wheat, barley, sugarcane, citrus, coffee, lettuce, cotton, tomato and grape. In the last 17 years, the product efficiency was proved in several research works at important institutions on crops of economic relevance to Brazil.
