Goldcrop Holdings to acquire Croplink Irelandqrcode

The proposed acquisition by Goldcrop Holdings Limited of the entire issued share capital and thus sole control of Croplink (Ireland) Limited has been notified to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
 
Croplink (Ireland) supply a host of generic and post-patent plant protection products including herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, growth regulators, trace elements and adjuvants.
 
Croplink sources its products from the main European based generic manufacturers including Cheminova, Makhteshim, Nufarm, Albaugh, Desangosse and United Phosphorous.
 
In addition the company markets products originating from primary manufacturers including DuPont, Bayer CropScience, Dow AgroSciences, Syngenta and BASF.
 
All Croplink products are distributed in the traditional way via co-ops, merchants and chemical specialists. In order to source products from Croplink, all retailer agronomists must be IASIS trained and / or have recognised 3rd level training in agriculture.
 
Established in 2001, Croplink (Ireland) Ltd., is owned and managed by Jim Droney M.Agr.Sc, a former Country Manager for Shell Agrochemicals, Cyanamid and BASF, with over 25 years’ experience of the industry in Ireland.
 
Goldcrop is a specialist seed and inputs company serving agriculture, horticulture, professional amenity, home lawncare and birdfood markets.
 
Grass seeds and Cereal seeds are the main business areas along with clover, maize, beet, forage brassicas, oilseeds, pulses, vegetable seeds, young plant plugs and amenity grass seeds.
