By Think Real - According to information from the Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture of China (ICAMA), the seminar for eight risky pesticides including carbendazim was held in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province during 6-8 July, 2016. On the seminar, experts and enterprise representatives from the fields of environment, efficacy, toxicology and residue discussed the effects of several pesticides on human and animal health, aquatic organisms and bees. However, the publishing time of the results was not revealed.

In detail, the basic features, registrations at home and abroad, as well as management of eight pesticides, namely carbendazim, atrazine, triazophos, alachlor, dimethacarb and metolcarb, were introduced on the seminar by the ICAMA and focus was laid on safety problems during monitor, experiment and investigation. Evaluation workers discussed the specific risks of the eight and suggested that based on the current data, the common problems of the same category of pesticides should be managed together.

Some enterprises that are involved in the production of the eight pesticides sent representatives to attend the meeting, and delivered brief reports of their respective production, sale and actual use situation. In detail, ten enterprises were included like Jiangsu Changlong Chemicals Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Huifeng Agrochemical Co., Ltd. and Shandong Binnong Technology Co., Ltd.
