AgroPages-Canada approves herbicide simazine in special review-Agricultural news

The Canadian Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) proposes to approve the continued registration of the herbicide simazine，following a special review of the active ingredient.The agency has opened public comments for 45 days until Sep 5th, 2016.

Simazine is a broad-spectrum triazine herbicide. It is currently registered for a wide variety of uses (for example, fruits, corn, shelter belts, woody ornamentals and nursery stock, woodlots). It is applied by ground equipment.
