Argentina launches online database on agrochemical legislation

The Agricultural Health and Fertilizers Chamber of Argentina (Casafe) announced the launch of an online database containing all the legislation in the country regarding agrochemicals. The “Digesto Fitoleg” system has municipal regulations, provincial and national laws on crop protection products, as well as environmental standards related to agricultural activity in Argentina.
"It is the result of an orderly and systematic recompilation. The goal of this juridical base is to offer a trustful and updated instrument, easing the access to what is decided and legislated on real time,” explains Casafe. Digesto Fitoleg brings yet a map with the locations of the last juridical decisions issued.
The agency affirms that this initiative shows its commitment to promote responsible actions in the sense of fostering an efficient and sustainable agriculture to preserve the natural environment”. The system can be accessed through the link http://fitoleg.casafe.org/home.
