DuPont to launch new insect control product

DuPont Crop Protection, Saudi Arabia, is set to launch a revolutionary new insect control product DuPont Coragen later this month.

Powered by Rynaxypyr, this breakthrough new chemistry from DuPont, Coragen has high efficacy and an excellent environmental profile, setting a new standard for insecticides in the Middle East, said a DuPont official.

Coragen insect control compound is a breakthrough mode of action insecticide that delivers remarkable plant protection, he added.

A leading market-driven science company, DuPont also recently announced the addition of four new seed research centers in developing countries and expanded operations at three existing facilities to develop seed to meet local needs for food productivity.

The new research operations extend the research leadership Pioneer Hi-Bred has built and bring the total number of research centers to nearly 100 worldwide.

DuPonts investment in the science of food and nutrition extends from the fields where crops, fruits and vegetables are grown, to the tables where they are served, the official added.
