Canola and pulse crops are subjected to many different stresses in the fields each growing season. Proper protection with two new fungicide products will help growers' canola and pulses reach fuller yield potential.

"BASF is adding new and innovative fungicide products to its AgCelence® portfolio in time for next growing season to help ensure growers receive the best quality yields from their crops," said Jason Leitch , Brand Manager, Fungicides with BASF Canada. "BASF is committed to continuous investment in research aimed to help growers get the most out of their fields through proper protection against disease and other stresses."

INSURE® PULSE seed treatment and LANCE® AG fungicide are the latest additions to the fungicide line-up for canola and pulses offered by BASF.

Products under the AgCelence name have been shown in research to provide broad-spectrum disease control and unique benefits including increased growth efficiency and better management of minor stress. The success of such products in field has growers looking for more opportunities to protect and grow their crops.

INSURE PULSE contains the active ingredient XEMIUM®, which forms the first systemic fungicide seed treatment for pulses and flax in Canada – and provides more consistent and continuous protection against seed- and soil-borne diseases.

"INSURE PULSE has three modes of action to help prevent against seed-borne diseases," said Ryan Johnson , who farms in Gainsborough, SK . "I liked the AgCelence product in INSURE PULSE, which I've seen in the other fungicides and other BASF products that I've used in the past."

LANCE AG fungicide delivers premium protection from Sclerotinia and improved management of minor stress during the critical flowering period, including reduced flower blasting and prolonged pod fill.

BASF continues to invest in research to deliver best-in-class solutions for growers to help get the most out of every acre.
