Monsanto Company has been named one of the World’s Most Admired Companies by FORTUNE® magazine. Monsanto was honored as No. 1 in its industry sector on the 2016 list, released recently.

“We are incredibly proud to receive this recognition from FORTUNE for the third year in a row,” said Hugh Grant, Monsanto Chairman and CEO. “This recognition is a direct reflection of the outstanding talent at Monsanto as well as our employees’ passion for developing agricultural solutions to help our farmer customers have better harvests.”

FORTUNE’s World’s Most Admired Companies list is based on company surveys and peer ratings from senior executives, directors and analysts. Ranking attributes range from innovativeness and quality of products to the retention of talented people and responsibility to the community and the environment. Monsanto and others named to FORTUNE’s World’s Most Admired Companies list are featured online today and will appear in the magazine’s March print issue.
