AgroPages-Bayer obtains registration of Larvin 800 WG in Brazil-Agricultural news

Bayer has obtained an extension of the registration of the Larvin 800 WG insecticide to combat the Helicoverpa armigera on cotton and soybean crops in Brazil. The release was published this Monday (1.11) at the Union's Official Gazette through an act signed by the General Coordination of Agrochemicals and Similars, Júlio Sérgio de Britto.

The product has as an active principle the thiodicarb and is already used in the control of caterpillars on corn, cotton and soybeans. The manufacturer highlights the high selectivity of Larvin 800 WG for the natural enemies, which leads to be widely used on the management during desiccation.

It is a contact and ingestion insecticide of the methylcarbamate oxime group. It is applied through foliar spraying, and classified as class III regarding the danger toward the environment.
