DuPont leader highlights growth opportunities in Asia Pacific

In an interview for The Business Spectator, an online business resource in Australia, Carl Lukach, president – DuPont East Asia, highlighted growth opportunities for DuPont in the Asia Pacific (AP) region. Carl emphasized science-based growth potential in agricultural, automotive, biofuels and other DuPont markets.
Carl told interviewer Isabelle Oderberg that Asian markets for DuPont agricultural products may grow at twice the pace anticipated in North America. He singled out the superiority of DuPont crop protection and seed products for AP.
He added that regulators are fast-tracking approval of DuPont™ Rynaxpyr® insecticide because it offers an attractive environmental profile.
"We’re very ‘bullish’ on the Asia Pacific markets, and management’s expectation … is that we will generate that growth,” Carl said.
