AgroPages-Excel Crop Care’s profit fell by 35% in Q2 FY 2015-16-Agricultural news

Indian agrochemical company Excel Crop Care’s sales fell by 19% to Rs 2,451.3 million in the second quarter FY2015-16 ended September 30th 2015. Net profit (from ordinary activities after tax) dropped sharply by 35% to Rs 186.0 million. For the first half year, sales were slipped by 14.7% to Rs. 5289.1 million, while net profit was down by 18.8% to Rs 617.8 million.
