Yara launches fertilizer Turbo PROCOTE+S for cotton in Brazil

The product also has micronutrients in all granules. Because of these characteristics, it is also an important enzymatic activator, which facilitates photosynthesis and improves the index of cotton micronaire, increasing the quality and profitability of the crop.
"Turbo PROCOTE+S is the guarantee of sulfur supply at the establishment of the cotton plant. The joint use with YaraBela (ammonium nitrate), containing the nutrient too, provides sustainably all the sulfur that the cotton needs during the planting cycle," points out Luciano Godoy, an agronomic expert at Yara.
Turbo PROCOTE+S was introduced at the 10th Brazilian Congress of Cotton in Brazil. At the congress, the company introduced studies showing yields up to 30% higher with the use of the product. "Yara regularly conducts field trials and research in institutions to validate its technologies and get the best agronomic efficiency and nutritional programs. From these results, the company develops solutions to meet what the farmer needs over the crop." concludes Godoy.
